Extracted from the Palmarosa plant, a plant that belongs to the Lemongrass family and is found in India, the Palmarosa Essential Oil is known for its several medicinal benefits. It is a grass that also has flowering tops and contains a compound called Geraniol in good proportion.

Palmarosa is also referred to as East Indian geranium, it comes from a wild-growing grass with straw-colored leaves and flowering tops. Despite its floral scent, the herb is harvested before the flowers appear. Palmarosa oil  is used commercially to scent tobacco, soaps, cosmetics, and perfumes.

Odour Profile: Palmarosa oil has a sharp, floral note with a hint of rose.

Blends well with: Bergamot, geranium, lemon, lime, mandarin, melissa, neroli, patchouli, petitgrain, ravensara leaf, rose, rose geranium, rosemary, rosewood, sweet orange,

Dilute before use: for external use only. May cause skin irritation
in some individuals, and should be avoided by those having sensitive skin; a skin test is recommended prior to use, and contact with eyes should be avoided.

Storage: It is recommended that oils packaged in metal
containers (for safe shipping) be transferred into dark glass
containers to maintain freshness and attain maximum shelf life.
